Convention Ponies.

The Edmonton Collectible and Comic Convention is on Sunday at the Shaw, and I have a spot with the Open Door Comics group, so I made some perler bead ponies! I'll also be drawing people as ponies or pretty much anything else that's requested.

My Pokeymans 13

Oh Magcargo. I think you're so cute, even if no one else does. That dopey, dirppy face of yours will always have my heart. I use a Magcargo for hatching pokemon, but I also have Joseph, the Christmas Magcargo for battle. He's not the greatest, but I love him anyway. He's got Earth Power, Recover, Toxic and Lava Plume.





Corsola is adorable and pink. But mine is adorable and blue! Mimi the Modest Corsola was given to me by Cat, after she had found her own shiny Corsola. Mimi currently has 3 Beauty Contest ribbons. I hope I can get her the final one someday.






Houndoom is awesome. I used Elvira in XD and later bred Dante to use in HeartGold. Flamethrower and Dark Pulse was all Dante needed to wreck everything. He was particularly strong against my rival's team. I'd definitely want to retrain Dante so I can use him for battle.

Rune Factory 4

I haven't played any of the Rune Factory games, but I'm pretty interested in Rune Factory 4. Mostly because it's the first one in the series where you can play as a girl and you can date a unicorn man.

My Pokeymans 12

Umbreon is tough. He can really take a hit. That's why I have a Cursing Umbreon with Payback. I've also got a Mean Looker for catching pokemon in Platinum. Remy and Roman are my Umbreons. Remy is for battle and Roman is for catching runners. They're both pretty great.






My Forretress doesn't have a name because he's from Emerald and I ported him over before I named him. He's also not a battling pokemon! No, my Forretress is covered in contest ribbons. He has all the Tough contest ribbons from Hoenn and a couple from Sinnoh. I was so disappointed that the moveset that made him a star in Hoenn wasn't going to work in Sinnoh. I really hope the bring contests back for Black2/White2 so that he can get some Unova ribbons.


Scizor is pretty cool. Excellent typing makes her really shine in the battle tower. My Scizor is Sonja the Red and I bred her specifically to be used in the battle tower with Starmie and Garchomp. She's Jolly and pretty excellent with Bullet Punch, X-Scissor, Swords Dance and Superpower.

P4G Famitsu DX Pack

Here's more details on the goodies that will come though Famitsu's special Persona 4: The Golden package. I've love to see what the other posters look like.

I'd love for this package to come out with the North American release as well. It never will, but I can dream!

My Pokeymans 11

Politoed is very cute frog, in my opinion. My Politoed came from Cat. His name is Mr. Wiggles and he's from the Dreamworld. Mr. Wiggles wiggles to bring constant rain on his opponents. I recently paired him up with my Whimsicott with Hurricane in a triples battle. Hurricane always hits in the rain and can hit any opponent in a triple battle. Mr. Wiggles and Fluffee make a good team!




Quagsire's cutest sprite is in HeartGold/SoulSilver. All he wants is hugs! I've got Ron, the Impish Quagsire with Earthquake, Toxic, Protect and Recover. I haven't EV trained him, but I really should do that and bring him into a proper battle someday. Wooper is also incredibly adorable and his backsprite in HGSS is just precious!






I first got an Espeon in Emerald when I was breeding all the Eevees. I later used the one you get in Pokemon Colosseum. But my first Espeon for battle was my Dreamworld Espeon. Leon has Magic Bounce, which reflects all field effects back to the user. I haven't really been able to use him yet, but I look forward to doing so!

Pokemon News!

Black 2 and White 2 have been announced! With the oddly named dual sequel coming out in June in Japan and in fall in North America, speculation is rampant. Will Hoenn be featured in these sequels in some way?

An upcoming Japanese Pokemon giveaway event leads slight credence to the Hoenn theory. Then again, the event is centered around the Kyushu train line and Hoenn is mapped after Kyushu. Likely just coincidence, but I kind of hope it's not.

My Pokeymans 10

Pokemon: XD isn't a very good Pokemon game, but it's where I got my Ampharos. Andy the Ampharos was used steadily from when I got him as a Flaffy till the end of the game. I paired him up with my Rain Dancer and let him Thunder everything to death. He's pretty good at it.






Bellossom is awful cute. I was so disappointed that I couldn't get one in Firered until the endgame, meaning I had to go through the Elite Four with Lily as a Gloom. She was still pretty good at poisoning guys and putting them to sleep.






I never thought too much about Marill until I decided to pick one up in my latest run of Emerald. He's surprisingly tough! Arthur quickly became one of my strongest pokemon after having to catch up to the rest of the team. I actually kept Rollout on him since it really helped Hit the Flying types my team was having a tough time against. He's pretty cute too.

Persona 4: The Golden Release Date.

June 14th is the day that Persona 4: the Golden will be coming out in Japan!

Time for Gen 2!

I first got a Bayleef in Pokemon Colosseum. At the time, it was one of the few ways to obtain second gen starters.

Later, I raised Megan the Meganium for battle. She's really only usable under Sunny Day with Light Screen, but I love her anyway. Meganium is a really cheery, derpy dinosaur.






Fritz the Feraligatr still lives in my HeartGold cart. He's got Crunch, Surf, Waterfall and Ice Fang. His Ice Fang was the only thing that got me through the Dragon Gym!

At some point, I'd like to build a Feraligatr for battle as well.





I love bats, and Crobat is no exception. I've got Bela (Lugosi) from my monster movie run of Emerald, Betsy, the Bravebird Crobat, ready for battle and Bernard the shiny green Golbat. I found Bernard while wandering the Seafoam Island caves in HeartGold. I was only lucky that I managed to capture him with my high leveled team. Also, I may be alone here, but I think Zubat is pretty adorable.

I wonder why all my bats' names start with B....
